Role: Production, Strategic Marketing, Talent
- Responsible for the strategic marketing, music programming and production of music industry events, marketing initiatives and new talent promotions at some of the world’s most popular international trade conferences including Midem (Cannes), Popkomm (Cologne) and the WMC (Miami)
- Ben Cherrill (Benstar) was responsible for producing multiple Music Week events, including;
- 1994 – Record Mirror/MTV Party – Popkomm, Germany – Full event planning, production, music programming & artist liaison. Attended by over 2000 entertainment professionals, featured global DJ talent including Carl Cox (UK), Sasha (UK), Paul Van Dyk (Germany) and Richie Hawtin (USA)
- 1995 – Record Mirror/MTV Party – Popkomm, Germany – Full event planning, production, music programming & artist liaison. Attended by over 1200 entertainment professionals, featured global DJ talent including Sasha (UK), Laurent Garnier (France) & Slam (UK)
