Ben Cherrill (Benstar) was a senior artist & repertoire manager within this highly successful major label music imprint between 2001 and 2006

  • Negotiated global licensing deal and TV sync for UK NO.1 single ‘Make Luv’ by Room 5 feat Oliver Cheatham which achieved music sales in excess of 350,000 copies in the UK alone
  • NO.1 simultaneously in sales, radio & TV airplay charts for 4 consecutive weeks
  • ‘Make Luv’ voted inaugural winner of ‘Best Music Sync’ at Music Week Awards, 2004
  • Responsible for multiple UK hit singles with combined sales in excess of 1 million, including; Reflekt feat Delline Bass – Need To Feel Loved, Motorcycle – As The Rush Comes, Bhangra Knights vs Husan – Husan, Ferry Corsten – Punk and Lovefreekz – Shine
  • Other artists and DJs worked with include; Junior Jack, Paul Van Dyk, Deep Dish, Kid Creme, Shapeshifters, Brad Carter, Red Carpet, Kurtis Mantronik, The Jungle Brothers, Lucien Foort. Trisco and Scent
  • Positiva voted Music Week magazine’s ‘Best Dance Label’ in 2001 and 2003
  • Ben Cherrill (Benstar) was executive album producer for the music soundtrack to British independent film ‘It’s All Gone Pete Tong’
